I want to introduce to you our Inflated Ego line of Products. The way I came up with this line was not for the faint of heart. I had to learn the hard way all about Narcissists and their impact on your emotional health.
See, I married one. It was Amazing...... until It wasn't......then.... it was the worst nightmare of my life.
Let me explain to you, in case you are as unaware as I was, about what a narcissist is.
A Narcissist by definition is " a person who has an excessive interest in or admiration of themselves."
That is the basic definition and goes much, much, much deeper than that. There are several different types of narcissists but I will not go into that here. There are Levels of Narcissists as well, so the severity of their "skills" vary. Most of the time these types of people are not pleasant to be around (unless the want or need something from you).They cause trouble, then blame it on you. The messed up thing about that is that a lot of times they are so good at the manipulation game that you actually believe it was your fault.
They can be very cunning, controlling, manipulative, Negative, Soul and energy Sucking Vampires that prey on people that have empathy and compassion. Some thrive on the misery of others and take great pride in making sure misery will come to anyone that stands in their way. Their #1 goal is whatever benefits them no matter who they hurt in the process.
With all that being said, My journey and LOVE of soap making and making of bath and body products Was fueled by the nightmare of that toxic Marriage and even more so toxic divorce.
I will spare you the details but as I was learning about narcissists and being devastated and emotionally ripped to shreds because of that situation, I needed an outlet. I needed a soul replenishing distraction to the dark times that I was in enduring.
So I came across a Fragrance oil that was named perfectly and it sparked an idea. what if I made this line of products to represent how a narcissist is and how they make you feel?!...
So let me explain, The fragrance of Inflated Ego is seductive and Warm, patchouli spice with the subtlety sweetness of Cinnamon. In the Beginning, when you first meet them, that is how a Narcissist is with you. Sweet, kind and inviting. Later, You learn of their black and white thinking (Colors for Inflated Ego) with the darkness swirled all around the light and topped with a lot of saltiness . (Topping for the soap) The Blue colors I have chosen for Inflated Ego Products is representative of how a Narcissist can make you feel.
The inspiration for these products albeit, dark and came from some Very dark times, It also sparked a flame and a passion inside me. A direction for my life.
Like a Phoenix flame and from the ashes I rose anew.
I have learned hard lessons and went through one HELL of an awakening but I guess I could say, in a sense, I am thankful for those dark times happening in my life, only because they lead me here, and I LOVE here! I love where my life is, and where it is headed and I love all the people in it now.
No matter where your inspiration comes from, the good or the ugly, use it to your advantage and build what you are passionate about into a beautiful flourishing ever evolving creation that is all yours.
Be proud of yourself and be proud of the person you have become and continue to improve on the person you are becoming.

I am an advocate for Domestic Violence Survivors (just because some don't have Physical bruises we can see doesn't mean they are not being abused)
